New dentist opens in Tayport with great value treatment plans and NHS service for under 26s
The Tayport Dental Practice on the town’s Castle Street has all the latest clinical equipment and thanks to a refurbishment of the building by Esme provides a calm, welcoming environment.
NHS and private
Patients are being welcomed with good value treatment plans and NHS spaces for those under 26.
The plans start at £15.50 a month for which patients receive two check-ups a year, two hygiene appointments and any x-rays that are needed. In addition, they benefit from 10% off any treatment.
Even if you need treatment prices are kept as low as possible with composite fillings starting from as little as £35.
Those under 26 can sign up for an NHS space and take advantage of the Scottish Government’s policy of free dental treatment for anyone of that age.
Why you need a check-up
Esme says she keeps the prices at a reasonable level because going for a check-up is vital and can benefit a patient’s overall health.
She said: “It is very important that people get their teeth checked regularly. Even if they think nothing is wrong we may spot something which, if left untreated, could become a bigger problem further down the line.
“A dentist may also spot other things un-related to teeth or gums such as a skin abnormality or something else in the mouth.”
