Blues expect tough match against Whitecraigs

Head coach Quintan Sanft will have noted that the Blues have only once been successful in five previous meetings with them.

As in their three earlier games this season the Blues pack looked to be in imperious form at Hugheneden and received a boost with the return from Dundee High of lock forward Connor Wood and the renewed availability of Matt Harvey from his naval duties.
These two have been outstanding performers for Kirkcaldy in previous seasons and their inclusion in the squad will undoubtedly increase competition for places.
The back line looked much more threatening against Hillhead than in the earlier games, no doubt helped by the constant supply of quality ball from a winning pack.
