Come and try cricket event hailed a huge success
Fife Community Cricket held acome and try event for girls and women at Falkland Cricket Club. Some 25 participants of varying ages from across the Kingdom took part in a fun filled morning's cricket.
The session was led by Beth and Justine who both currently play for St Andrews University Ladies. The majority, including many mums of girls who play, had never played cricket before but were all soon learning how to catch, throw, bowl and bat. Working closely with Cricket Scotland plans are already in place to build on the first event.
