Fife AC's Sheena is in the medals at 10 mile race

Fife AC took to the roads this weekend, with excellent results at the Tom Scott Memorial 10 Mile Road Race in Motherwell, which doubled up as the Scottish 10 Mile Road Race Championships, and the Round the Houses 10k in Grangemouth.

Fife AC’s women won two medals at the Tom Scott Memorial 10 Mile Road Race.

Sheena Logan won the bronze medal in a brilliant time of 60.11 behind Shettleston Harriers’ Finnouala Ross and Inverness Harriers’ Jenny Bannerman.

Sheena, Halina Rees in seventh in 61.37 and Alison McGill in 11th in 64.45 won the team silver medal.

In the men’s results, new Fife AC member Derek Rae placed 10th in 54.00.

On the same day, the popular Round the Houses 10k took place in Grangemouth.

Annabel Simpson continued her good form to place first junior and seventh woman overall in a PB of 35.44.

Other Fife AC results included Jez Tomlinson in 37.32, Angela Richardson in 37.35 and George Black in 47.32.
