Fife Flyers face German opposition in -pre-season

The matches will take place at Fife Ice Arena on August 27 and 28.

The visitors play in the lower leagues of German hockey– the Oberliga.

Todd Dutiaume, head coach, said: ‘‘It will give the fans a chance to see another team from another league, and make the pre-season that little bit different.

‘‘It also gives the players a chance to play as a team for the first time before opening weekend,and lets me, as a coach, look at the lines and make adjustments as necessary.”

After the game on Sunday fans are invited to meet the players in the curling bar.
