Fife Flyers have launched a new Travel Club for the 2015-16 ice hockey season - and the first meeting has now been arranged.
It goes ahead on Monday, August 24 at 7.00 pm at Fife Ice Arena.
The venue is the curling bar, and it’ll be the first opportunity for fans to sign up for the season - and find out about the benefits offered in return for membership.
The Travel Club replaces the traditional supporters club which organised events as well as taking fans to away games and double headers.
Although it costs more to join, the Travel Club offers a wider range of benefits and discounts which mean fans who travel regularly will make good savings during the season.
And the funds raised go back into the club.
Membership benefits include: discount on tickets at away venues (subject to away team participation); discount on away travel compared to standard away travel cost; 10% off in the Flyers Shop; chance to win a game worn player jersey - The Travel Club will sponsor the away jerseys of netminder Blair Daly and new signing Michael Dorr; discount on ticketed Flyers’ events, and 20% Off at Frankie & Benny’s, one of the club’s sponsors.
Application forms will be available at the meeting as well as at each home game from September.
The Travel Club will man its own kiosk at the rink on match nights.
