Flyers-Stars target two full houses

Fife Flyers take on Dundee Stars in the championship quarter-finals this weekend - and there is every chance both games will sell-out.

The tie was confirmed 24 hours after Flyers booked their place in the play-offs with back to back wins over Braehead Clan at the weekend.

The results saw them grab seventh spot in the final standings, avoiding champions Belfast Giants who were seeded to play the eighth placed team.

The Fife-Clan double header drew capacity crowds of 3510 in Renfrew and 3525 in Kirkcaldy respectively - two of the biggest attendances at Scottish hockey for many years.

Now fans face a ticket scramble for the Stars double header.

The first leg is at Fife Ice Arena on Saturday (7.15 p.m.) with the return in Dundee on Sunday (6.30 p.m.)

For the winner there is a place in the play-off finals weekend at Nottingham on April 5-6.
