Flying Ryan leads them home at one mile series

Ryan Lafferty (PH Racing) won the latest round in the Ravenscraig Park (Create & Prosper) one-mile series in Kirkcaldy.

Lafferty clocked a personal best 4 minutes 44 seconds with two seconds to spare over runner-up Graeme Gibson (Unatt).

Stuart Tite (Fife AC) followed in third also timed at a personal best – 4:51.

Zoey Johnston (Falkland TR) placed 16th overall, first female clocking 6 minutes 12 seconds.

The next Ravenscraig one mile is July 12 starting at 7pm.

The next Beveridge Park 5km is July 15 starting at 7.30pm - also features 1.3-mile junior run.

Both these events are enter on the night.
