It was Pittenweem who scored first after a lofted cross caused a mix up in the AM defence leaving an opposing player time to volley home.

AM got the equaliser they deserved as young striker Mutch latched onto a loose pass and coolly slotted home.

Shortly after, a through ball from Grant allowed Mutch to run through and stroke the ball past the on rushing goalkeeper.

Pittenweem struck back in the second half to level the game with a clever lob over the goalkeeper.

However, AM responded well and the young strike force of Appere and Mutch linked up to allow Mutch to gain sight of goal and pounce on his chance to finish for the hat-trick.

AM couldn’t defend their lead and conceded from a cross-ball for the second time in the game.

The match stayed level until full-time with the match going to penalties. fortunately for AMsoccer their goalkeeper Morris saved a penalty in sudden death allowing Player to step up and finish to win the cup.

In their second final, AMsoccer played Valleyfield.

Valleyfield were gifted a goal half way through the first half.

AM responded well and the early introduction of Appere, due to injury, saw AM level the tie at 1-1.

In the second half Appere was causing the Valleyfield back line a host of problems, creating opportunities for himself and team mates to level the tie.

With the game still level Appere won a penalty for AM, however Grant’s penalty was saved by the Valleyfield goalkeeper.

In the dying minutes of the game the Valleyfield netted a third to wrap up the win.
