AM soccer will meet up with their French friends again this year.

2016 is shaping up to be another year of success for Cupar based football coaching organisation, AMsoccer.

The club enjoyed a great 12 months last year, forging links with other football academies, seeing players picked up by senior clubs and again offering the best on local coaching.

But AM is refusing to stand still, and this year wants to build on those successes.

Amongst the plans already in place to hit the ground running is the introduction of a new 2007 seven aside team to start playing competitive matches in the CEFSSA League.

Ross Grant from the club said: “The continuing excitement will grow as the 2002 11 aside squad will travel to Houston, Texas to participate in an international football tournament in March for 10 days.

“The club will continue to grow and strengthen the international community relationship with Cupar’s French twin town, St Menehould, by taking part in an exchange trip which will allow players from within AMsoccer Club to travel to the French town for an educational visit in early April.

“Continuing on the football theme, AMsoccer will again host their 7 aside and 11 aside tournaments in the summer of 2016, tournaments that in 2015 seen over 100 teams travel to participate in.”

In addition to the opportunities to travel, AMsportstours are delivering a Premiership weekend during February which will see players, parents and coaches travel down to watch a Premier League match whilst enjoying a stadium tour and training.

Mr Grant added: “AMsportstours are also delivering a tour of a lifetime to the Euro 2016 Championships in France offering the chance to watch some of the world’s greatest players like Ronaldo and Rooney in Europe’s most prestigious tournament.

“AMsoccer Club are delighted to be able to deliver these fantastic opportunities to its players and parents during 2016 and look forward to another exciting year.”
