Back in the winning habit

East Fife midfielder Ross Brown says it was nice to get that winning feeling back at the weekend.

Ahead of Saturday’s 3-2 win over Brechin, the Methil club had drawn their previous three league fixtures.

Given the fine form the club is in generally, it was hardly cause for panic, but the Bayview midfielder reckoned picking up all three points sets the club on the right path once again.

Brown said: “We took a couple of goals lead before they got it back.

“But we managed to pick up again and get the three points in the end.

“It was important because the last couple of games we’ve taken draws and have missed out on the three.”

After losing a two goal lead, the Methil men responded in the right manner, and surged forward to get their noses in front again.

“That’s a main part of our game,” said the midfielder.

“We looked solid and know that if we get pegged back we can go back in front again.

“We’re looking up but won’t get carried away with ourselves.”
