Dundonald suffered their first league defeat of the season at the weekend when they went down 2-0 to Jeanfield.

The home side had the first chance of the game but Wallace’s shot was well saved.

A Gilfillan shot was also well saved after he was played in by Falconer.

The visitors took the lead when they scored with a header from a corner.

Dundonald’s cause was made more difficult when they were reduced to ten men after Carstairs was sent off for his second yellow.

The visitors got their second when after some good play down the left a good ball across goal left the striker with an easy chance.

This Saturday Bluebell travel to Broughty Athletic.

Kirkcaldy YM kick-started their new season when they grabbed their first three points of the campaign.

YM haven’t adapted yet to life in the North Division but showed signs of finding their feet when Forfar Albion visited Denfield at the weekend.

Two goals from McNeish and a strike from Blyth wrapped up the win.

This weekend YM will be involved in a local derby when they travel to Treaton Park to face Kennoway Star Hearts.

From their last six matches Kennoway Star Hearts have taken 10 points, having won three, lost two and drawn one.

Thornton were left kicking their heels at the weekend as Craig Gilbert’s men found themselves with a free week.

This weekend they’ll take the journey north to Guthrie Park to face Forfar Albion on league duty.
