Boss delight at stunning St Andrews United comeback to win 3-2
Trailing 2-0 after 72 minutes at home to Haddington Athletic, United hit back to get all three points as Lewis Craik’s opener was followed by Rowe’s 77th-minute beauty and a peach by Owen Andrew, who sent a sensational first time, right footed strike into the top corner with two minutes remaining.
Gaffer Wright said: “Freddie’s goal was an unbelievable strike. He was formerly in my community team at Dunfermline.

"I think he’s got a big future in the game. He’s only played four games for us but has already shown how good he is. He’s a creative player but he is a good all round midfielder.
"Owen Andrew’s goal was very good as well.”
Wright admitted his team had carried some luck on Saturday, having had precious little of it so far in the season.
A case in point came in the first half, when Haddington inexplicably had a goal disallowed for offside.

Hide AdWright added: “We have needed a bit of luck this season so we’ll take it. I was happy with the way we were playing but then we got punished for two mistakes and looked like we were going to lose.
"Going on to get that first league win is a real weight off my shoulders.
"We’ve had opportunities in the last few weeks where we should have had wins and we didn’t, so it was good to get a win on the board.”
Saints have no competitive fixture this weekend and are next in league action at home to Musselburgh Athletic on Saturday, October 5 with a 2.30pm kick-off.

The boss said that injured skipper Ryan Roche was back in training but still some weeks away from returning to the team.
