Some high press from St Andrews saw them take the lead. With the Burntisland defence failing to clear their lines, Sam Woolhead managed to get the loose ball and slide it across the box for Rab to tap home.

The Second half started well again with Colts looking to double their lead.

Innes played a good ball down the line for Rab to get on to in which he beat the defender and was brought down in the box. Ryan stepped up and confidently slotted it past the keeper. The Colts were looking to see the game out in the last 15 minutes but a well worked free kick from Burntisland allowed them to get back in the game.

Further misery was to arrive when a throw in deep in the Colts half bobbled up and hit Scott’s hand which was controversially awarded as a penalty.

Burntisland netted the penalty to restore parity at 2-2.
