Cupar’s injury woes continued with nine players on the sidelines but they still managed to field a strong outfit that easily dispatched their opponents.

Player- manager Lee Sibanda was once again on top form and he grabbed a hattrick despite carrying an injury himself.
His first came from the penalty spot on eight minutes when he coolly sent the ball straight down the middle to double Cupar’s lead.
Before the break he capitalised on a defensive mistake and sent a cheeky chip over the ‘keeper and into the net. His third came early in the second half when Scott McKay was brought down and the referee pointed to the spot for a second time and Sibanda made no mistake with his penalty kick.

Hide AdHearts were cruising with Edinburgh Thistle struggling to find a way through the home defence leaving ‘keeper Jason Inglis a spectator for much of the match with barely a shot to trouble him.
Cupar’s fifth came on 71 minutes when John Calcutt played in Jakub Dobes and he finished well.
Goal scorer turned provider moments later when Dobes skinned his defender and unselfishly squared to Scott McKay waiting at the back post for an easy tap in.
It was a solid performance by Cupar and their fourth consecutive win and fourth clean sheet in a game where the result was never in doubt.
