East Fife headed home from Aberdeen in good spirits after a good win over Dee Vale that takes them eight points clear at the top of the table with seven games to go.
The visitors passed up a series of chances to take the lead but found their hosts in mean mood to ensure the scores were level at the break.
After a half time rollicking Fife looked a different and much more clinical side in the second half.
Anderson started the scoring before Skivington added a quick second.
Four minutes later Wheatley added a third having been released by a Graham free kick.
On 66 minutes Nicholson got on the scoresheet after a fine second half performance.
The most celebrated goal came on 68 minutes when players’ favourite Sam Pattison scored a goal of pure desire on her return from injury.
Pattison found herself charging an edge of her own box shot from a Dee Vale corner. She won the ball, played it to Skivington who played it back in for her to curl a right footed shot beyond the keeper .
Skivington netted another with a 25 yard lob with Guppy completing a second half rout.
Player/manager Anderson said: “I was very disappointed by our first half performance but the second half saw a different East Fife team emerge.
East Fife take on Dundee City at KGV at 2.30pm on Sunday.
