Gary Naysmith paid tribute to his playing and coaching staff after picking up the Ladbrokes manager of the month award for August.
The Bayview club got off to a flyer at the start of the season, turfing Championship side Dumbarton out of the League Cup on the first of the month.
The game went to penalties but the Fifers held their nerve to advance.
The side slipped to defeat against East Stirlingshire a week later but bounced back in style, hammering Berwick 5-0.
A win against Elgin followed before the side put up a spirited showing against Motherwell, only losing out after extra-time, before beating Queen’s Park at the national stadium.
The Bayview gaffer was quick to acknowledge the contribution of everyone at the club.
He said: “It’s the manager who picks up these awards and gets their name on them, but you couldn’t do it without the players and the coaching staff.
“Dougie (Anderson, assistant), Alex (Connon, goalkeeping coach) and George (Good, physio) played a massive part in this award and the players have been fantastic since the start of the season.
“So this award is for all of them as much as it is for me.”
