Fifers handed home tie

EAST Fife have secured a home tie against Elgin City in the first round of the Scottish League Cup.

First Minister Alex Salmond and Scottish Football League Chief Executive, David Longmuir carried out the draw duties for the newly rebranded Scottish Communities League Cup at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell.

Of the other Fife sides, Raith Rovers face an away trip to Montrose, Dunfermline travel to Annan and Cowdenbeath will be at home against Stenhousemuir.

Matches will be played on Saturday July 30.
