East Fife Ladies...................3

EAST Fife travelled to Tranent for a friendly with Hearts.

Last season saw the Fifers going down 8-0 in the home tie and 3-1 in the away tie, as Hearts pushed for the league title.

East Fife went ahead when McAllistair played the ball down the line for Skivington, who cut back to the edge of the box where Wylie cruised in to find the corner.

East Fife went two up when they moved the ball through midfield and out to Wylie on the right.

She cut the ball back to McAllistair who found the top left hand corner with her first time effort

East Fife’s third goal came from Anderson.

East Fife player-manager Liz Anderson said: “This shows how far the squad has come in the last year.

“We did not play particularly well in the first half, but defended particularly well.

“Hamilton’s performances in goals is breeding confidence in our team, and we always feel that we will win, if we take our chances.”
