Nathan Austin has returned to East Fife on a two-year deal after leaving Kelty Hearts.

The Levenmouth striker, 29, was a fans’ favourite during his previous spells for the Methil Men – scoring 44 goals in 101 appearances. He originally joined the Fifers back in the summer of 2013 from Leven United.

He has since played for the likes of Falkirk and Inverness Caley Thistle, with his most recent spell coming at League One side Kelty, finding the back of the net twice last term in the third tier.

“We’re delighted to bring Fash back to the club,” Fifers boss Greig McDonald said. “He’s a quality striker who will bring experience and a track record of scoring goals. I’m looking forward to working with him, he’s a local lad who knows the club well and I’m sure he will complement our existing attacking players.”
