A healthy crowd joined the Fifers to watch their final game and there was a great atmosphere at kick off.

Fife started well and created a number of good chances through Harrison, Guppy and Skivington but were shocked when against the run of play Dee Ladies went ahead.

A long ball found the striker racing in behind and with Anderson unable to catch her, she slotted the ball across the goal and in off the post.

With Dee Ladies keen to hold on to their lead and Fife throwing everything at their goal, the game became a little scrappy with a few tasty challenges put in on the Fife girls.

Great play from Dawson and Skivington saw Nicholson clean through on goal, only to be scythed down by the last man.

It looked certain that the defender would be sent off, but she somehow escaped with a yellow card.

Skivington put the ball just wide from the resulting free kick.

They eventually did get their goal when Skivington was adjudged to have been fouled in the box by the player who’d earlier escaped a red.

Her second yellow saw her leave the pitch this time.

Skivington sent a thunderous penalty straight down the middle and into the roof of the net.

Having had a rollicking at half time, Fife came out in the second half looking to make sure that they put the game beyond Dee Ladies.

After a great pass from Dickson in the Fife defence, Guppy raced through getting across the player and firing the ball in at the near post.

Skivington then have a great chance for her 50th league goal of the season after a great run down the left and across the box, but her shot went agonisingly wide. Wheatley completed the scoring and got the party started.
