It was goals galore for Cupar Hearts when they found some form and picked up three league wins in a row.

Tuesday night saw a visit from Glenrothes and a convincing 6-0 home win before travelling to Kettle and notching 10 goals in a very one-sided affair.

Player- manager Lee Sibanda showed them how it was done with a hattrick against Glenrothes then an incredible four goals at Kettle while defender Scott McInroy made up for his own goal the previous week when he netted twice against the local rivals.

And so it was the turn of League newcomers Falkland to face a Cupar team full of goals and increasing confidence.

Hearts opened the scoring on 11 minutes after a free kick delivered by Ryan Gray was eventually cleared out to Gary Sutherland and his cross was converted by new signing Grant Blyth.

Cupar doubled their lead through Craig Lumsden whose superb shot on the turn found the bottom corner.

The home side went three to the good nine minutes into the second half when Stephen Lawlor blasted the ball into the net.

Craig Lumsden doubled his tally on the hour mark.

Hearts had a second goal chopped off for offside when a Grant Blyth cross was turned in by Michael Reilly.

Cupar grabbed their fifth with seven minutes remaining when Gary Sutherland fired in from close range after a cross by Jakub Dobes to conclude the scoring.

It was another good performance by Hearts and their third clean sheet in a row which sets them up well for their Scottish Cup tie.
