Forward thinking Saints have plenty in attack.

Saints hit the goal trail on Saturday as they came from two goals down to salvage a 2-2 draw at Whitburn.

The goals came from forwards Barry Sibanda and on-loan Jordan Austin and prove, says Barrett, that his side can be a threat up top.

He said: “Barry came on as sub and showed a really good attitude.

“He got our first goal and Jordan got our second with an over head kick.

“We signed Jordan because we felt we were a bit light up front but now we have him, Barry, Lea Schiavone, Conner Ireland and Daryl Falconer.

“That’s a lot of good competition for places up front and the boys know they’ll need to be consistent.”

The manager was pleased to get the point at the weekend but admitted he was frustrated to go in at the break two goals down.

But Saints came out firing, and Barrett is hoping to take that into the weekend’s Scottish Cup tie against Super League Jeanfield Swifts.

He said: “Jeanfield are doing well at the moment and got a really good 3-1 win against Hill O’ Beath.

“It’s going to be another really tough one for us but it’s a game we can maybe go into with the pressure off and where the players can express themselves.” Lee Duffy is an injury doubt.
