Four added to the squad as Tayport plan for season

Tayport boss Chris Macpherson has accelerated his squad rebuilding ahead of next season.

Although there is still no firm date for campaign kicking off, Macpherson is wasting no time in bringing some added quality to the Canniepairt.

Several players signed up this week.

Attacking midfielder Jamie McCabe, experienced goalkeeper Gary Thain, youngster Bradie Heggie and left sided player Zak Wilson have all been added to the squad.

The club has also announced that Greig Whyte has abeen appointed captain for the 2020/21 campaign.

‘Port said: “ Greig is a local lad that has grown up watching the club so this is a honour that means a lot to him.”
