Glens had new manager Willie Campbell in charge for this important six pointer in the bottom half of the league.

The game started at a fair rate of knots with both teams testing each other out.

Glens were getting rather frustrated with the amount of pressure they were putting on there opponents with no end product.

From a corner Glens deservedly took the lead when a kick from a trialist found the head of Napier to bullet it home.

At the other end, in one of their rare, attacks Scott broke clear only to see his effort strike the post.

A minute later the same player had a shot saved by the legs of Costello.

At the start the of the second half a fine run from Schiavone found McPhie but his effort was wide of target.

The away team looked a different side at the start of the second half.

They created a couple of half chances which came to nothing.

An excellent cross field ball from Moffat found Schiavone who won a corner.

Batchelor broke clear for the away side but the official blew for offside.

An effort from Dignan just missed the target.

A 25 yard shot from Napier looked netbound only for Thain to make an excellent save.

On 65 minutes Violet equalised when a cross from the right was turned into his own net by McDonald.

A long range effort from Sneddon flew over the crossbar.

On 85 minutes Glens took the lead again from another set piece when a trialist took another excellent corner and this time found the head of Moffat.

Glens are again at home on Saturday when they entertain Tranent in a league fixture with a 2.30pm kick off.
