The striker signed up for a third spell in Kirkcaldy on loan from parent club Hibs during the transfer window and says it was an easy decision to make.

"It was quite late on Monday night. It was about 6pm when I got the all clear. We moved quite quickly and got it done.

"I’ve got some great memories from my time at Raith. The club, players, staff and fans know me and I love the place here.

"When I got the opportunity to come out on loan, this was where I wanted to come.

"I'm delighted to be back and hopefully get some game time and some goals."

Gullan made his Rovers debut for the third time in the midweek defeat to Dunfermline and speaking after the match admitted it wasn’t the return he was hoping for.

"It wasn't the result we wanted tonight.

"We wanted to come here and get the three points and continue the good run. We just didn't do that.

"We were a bit open and the four goals we gave them were quite cheap.

"Obviously the third goal was a good free-kick, but on another day, if we'd kept ourselves a bit more tight and compact, we might not have conceded those goals.

"It's obviously been a tough shift for the boys and they've been four hard games as well, being the three teams up at the top end of the table.

"We were missing a few players as well.

"We need to just dust ourselves down and try and get a positive result on Saturday."
