Hearts grind out a victory
Eastvale.............................1
Both teams headed into the game in poor form the points were for the taking.
Hearts enjoyed the majority of possession and deservedly opened the scoring on 26 minutes. Gary Brown set up Scott McKay in front of goal and he drilled the ball into the net.

Cupar Hearts were determined to put right their string of poor second half performances that were costing them important points.
Two minutes into the second period they doubled their advantage. A perfectly placed Gary Sutherland cross allowed Frankie Bell to head in from close range.
Then Gary Brown did well to muscle in on goal but his effort was tipped over the crossbar.
