Kennoway Star Hearts returned from one of the most difficult away grounds in the league with all three points on Saturday.

And the side’s dramatic 4-3 win at the Canniepairt, home of Tayport FC, has helped Alex Davidson’s side build a two point gap at the top of the East Premier League.

Another of those hard in pursuit, Arniston Rangers, also have games in hand, and the two meet in the Kingdom this weekend with a 2.30pm kick off at Treaton Park.

Another club in the promotion hunt are Thornton Hibs.

They had their scheduled game at home to Coupar Angus called off due to the weather on Saturday but will be hoping to go again this weekend.

Craig Gilbert’s men, who sit in second place in the North Division on goal difference, are at home to Brechin Vics.

The last time these sides met was in the McBookie.com North Division back on January 21 at Victoria Park where Thornton Hibs beat Brechin Vics 1-5.

Battling at the other end of their division, Glenrothes Juniors are aiming to put some daylight between themselves and the bottom four of the East Premier League.

This weekend Glens are without a fixture.

However, the club has still been busy, confirming the resigning of two players.

Callum Kinness and Gavin Moffat have both penned new deals.
