This will be Hibs last ever visit to Beechwood Park following the news that Harp will be playing at a new ground next season.

After coming close on a few occasions, Thornton eventually took the lead in the 15th minute through Daniel McNab.

Stuart Drummond’s 26th minute deft headflick doubled the Hibs’ advantage, but just when it looked like it would be plain sailing for Craig Gilbert’s men, McNab was sent off for a second yellow card offence just before half-time.

To be fair it didn’t look as if they were a man down in the second-half and it was no real surprise when Chris Ireland made it three in the 54th minute after moving onto Max Coleman’s perfect pass.

Another superb pass from Raymond Crichton in the 82nd minute presented Garry Thomson with the chance to make it four.

Right at the death, Harp were reduced to ten men following a headbutt from Connaire Connolly.
