“We were delighted to see the players show so much character and we went on to create numerous chances in the second half.”

Two-goal hero Matt Adam was given a special mention, after his late brace had earned the three points.

“I was really pleased for Matty,” added Kerrigan “He has been really patient and has worked hard at training.”
