Over the past couple of seasons Appéré has become a staple in the United first team squad while Meekison made his first appearance for the Tannadice club from the bench in Wednesday night’s 3-0 defeat at Kilmarnock.

AM Soccer said: “Everyone at the club is delighted for Archie on making his senior debut in the top flight and very proud of the impression he left in the game. It was great to see both Archie and Louis on the pitch at the same time too.”
