  • Full time 0-0

87: Game starting the peter out

It’s been an entertaining enough 0-0 but neither side has really had that cutting edge. Missed penalty kind of sums things up.

67: Chance East Fife

Nice cross by Kevin Smith is met by Scott Agnew but his volley is off target.

58: Missed penalty Cove!

Liam Watt trips Connor Smith inside the Fife box. Pretty blatant penalty. But Mitch Megginson’s spot kick is stopped by Long who also beats away the rebound.

47: Chance East Fife

Early sight of goal for East Fife as Danny Denholm breaks forward. Gets a shot away but it’s tame and held easily by Stuart McKenzie.

43: Chance East Fife

Excellent work down the left wing by Austin and he makes it to the line. Cross into the box is cut out before it reaches Watt.

32: Chance East Fife!

Massive chance for the home side. Ryan Wallace picks out Liam Watt free inside the box. Watt fails to get a decent shot away and his effort is blocked by Ryan Strachan.

Best chance of the game so far. Scott Ross’s throw in makes its way to Mitch Megginson inside the Fife box. The striker turns and gets his shot away but lacks power.

20 minutes gone and still no scoring. After a quiet opening to the game, Cove have gradually worked their way into it.

The visitors hit East Fife on the attack with a nice sweeping move up the park. Ball worked to Jamie Masson but his shot is high and wide.

5: Bright start for East Fife

The home side have come flying out the traps and enjoying a decent spell inside the Cove half. Austin and Wallace looking busy up front.
