East Fife looking good in the early stages of this cup tie. Ross Davidson had an early sight of goal. Morton yet to test Brett Long.

14: Chance East Fife!

Best chance of the game so far. Kevin Smith slips Liam Watt in on goal and his shot is tipped onto the post by Aidan McManus.

20: Excellent spell for East Fife

The home side well on top just now. Aidan McAdams by far the busier of the two keepers.

East Fife look really impressive this afternoon so far. Morton having to stay deep inside their own half. Still haven’t been able to find that crucial goal, though.

Excellent chance for Morton to take the lead. Reece Lyon breaks into the Fife box but his deflected shot is beaten away by Brett Long.

56: Chance East Fife

Nice move up the park and the ball is worked to Agnew on the edge of the box. He tries his luck with a chip which drops onto the top of the Morton net.

Brilliant work down the line by Liam Newton who outmuscles the Morton defence. He squares to Kevin Smith who nets from close range.

Lewis Strapp with a double effort on the Fife goal which Brett Long is equal to.

As you’d expect the visitors are seeing a lot of the ball and forcing East Fife to defend deep as they chase an equaliser.

East Fife penalised for a handball inside the box. Ref Alan Muir points to the spot and Sean McGinty steps up and nets.

Free header inside the six yard box for Gary Oliver but he can’t beat Long.

104: Chance East Fife

Excellent drive forward by Swanson. He races into the box and gets a shot away which is cleared for a corner.

105: Half time in extra time

Both sides have had chances in the first half of extra time. Danny Swanson and Cole Mckinnon unlucky for East Fife with Kaziah Sterling also close for Morton.

So cruel on East Fife. Robbie Muirhead breaks into the Fife box and his deflected effort sails into the top corner beyond Long.
