Swift counter attack from the visitors who work the ball to Scott Tiffoney. His drive is blocked. At the the other end Liam Newton slashes his shot into the side netting.

The Fifers have the lead!! Mouhamed Niang penalised for a handball in the box as Ryan Wallace attacked. Clear penalty which Wallace slots home.

Long ball through to Kevin Smith who takes the ball down on his chest before rifling a terrific shot beyond James Sneddon.

East Fife have been absolutely brilliant in these opening 20 minutes. Well on top and running Thistle ragged.

25: Chance East Fife!

So close to 3-0. Brilliant turn and shot by Ryan Wallace who gets a low shot away which is tipped past the post by James Sneddon.

32: Chance Partick!

Best chance of the game for Thistle. Brian Graham’s close range header is cleared off the line. Partick claim for a penalty but nothing doing.

36: Huge chance East Fife!

Awww man, what a miss. Ryan Wallace robs the Partick defence and races clear. Squares to Danny Denholm but he skies his shot from six yards.

Ball sits up nicely for Scott Tiffoney to have a drive but he can’t keep his effort down.

The visitors are chasing hard for the equaliser and keeping East Fife penned deep inside their own half. East Fife just unable to get out at the moment.

Newton, Dunsmore and Spence on for East Fife.

65: Chance East Fife

Greig Spence gets in behind the Partick defence but his effort is blocked.

Should be 2-1. Great chance for Zak Rudden a couple of yards out but he totally fails to get any connection on his shot and Long gathers easily.

It’s a goal that’s been coming to be fair. Great cross by Joe Cardle to Brian Graham who nods home.

75: Fifers defending deep

Thistle really sense there’s something in this game for them now. East Fife defending deep inside their own half.
