Glenrothes boss overwhelmed by charity support
Martin is still currently taking part in Cancer Research UK’s Run 56 Miles Challenge which sees supporters raise money by challenging themselves to run 56 miles over February.
The Glens boss openly admits he “hates running” but has been powering through the fundraiser regardless.

It’s been a slog, but the manager admits it’s worth it.
He said: “There’s nothing more better than coming in after a run and seeing my donations now at over £1000 with just over a week to go.
"It makes all the aches and pains well worth it.
"I know am sounding like a broken record but I can’t thank everyone enough for their generosity and support, it honestly is overwhelming and much appreciated.”
Glenrothes, like all East of Scotland League sides, remain out of action for the foreseeable future following the postponement of all football below Championship level in January.

In the meantime, Martin will continue to pound the streets to raise cash.
Before starting the venture, he said the charity was one close to his him.
He said: “I decided to do the run of 56 miles in the month of February to help raise some funds to a charity close to my heart.

"Those who know me know I hate running but I want to set myself this challenge so I can give just a little back.”
"Any donations will be greatly appreciated."
Martin is continuing with his fundraising effort and there’s still time to chip in, if you’re in a position to do so.
