The success of the World Cup in 2019, and Scotland’s participation in it, has grown interest in the women’s game more than ever before.

Store windows on Glasgow’s Argyle Street now depict highly rated striker Erin Cuthbert in their window, inspiring young girls across Scotland to strive to be the next star to wear the famous navy jersey.

With 2020 seeing even more Scottish clubs making their women’s set-up fully professional, the future is bright on the domestic and international front after being underappreciated for far too many years.

So on international women’s day we decided, in no particular order, to take a look at Scotland’s top 10 women footballers that are inspiring a generation of girls.
