The Hibs striker returned to Stark’s Park for a third loan spell from the Edinburgh side during the transfer window to a club he says he knows well.

Whilst he is enjoying his time in Kirkcaldy once again, the 21-year-old says he won’t be content until he hits the back of the net.

"I'm feeling good and have settled in well,” he says, “obviously I knew a lot of the boys who were still here, as well as the gaffer and the coaching staff.

“I was happy to come back here and play more football and get more minutes on the pitch.

“I just need to get a bit more sharpness back and then hopefully get some goals.

“It's been three games without a goal so hopefully I can contribute to one soon.

“If I can get one hopefully more will follow.”

Gullan played the mjority of Saturday’s disappointing 1-0 loss at Arbroath, a match he says he found “frustrating”.

"We knew exactly what sort of game we were going to come into. We know what it's like up here and we prepared for it well.

“I guess we just didn't turn up. We weren't at 100 per cent. We were off it a wee bit and if you are off at Arbroath then you're going to get punished.

“I don't think we took advantage of having the wind in the first half. If we played the way we did in the second half in the first, we maybe would have created a lot more.

“Ultimately we didn't do enough to win the game.”

Raith now get ready to face bottom club Alloa on Saturday, but despite the gulf between to two sides, Gullan says he is well aware that you can’t take anything for granted in the Championship.

"Anyone can beat anyone in this league,” he says, “that's been shown already and it's really tight.

“If you go on a good run or a bad run, you can move places really quickly.

“We know how important the game is this week. We'll all be wanting to get the three points to make up for the Arbroath match.

"We've got a few home games coming up just now which are massive for us.

"We don't want to get into a habit of losing so we just need to regroup and get ready for Alloa.”
