Junior Football: Third time lucky for Glens in cup?

Glenrothes Juniors will hope it’s third time lucky in their attempt to play their Scottish Cup fourth-round tie at home to Yoker Athletic after the game was postponed for a second time.

Last Saturday’s cancellation followed an overnight frost that left Warout Stadium unplayable so, weather-permitting, the teams will go head-to-head for a place in the last 16 this Saturday.

Kennoway Star Hearts suffered a similar fate as, for the second Saturday running, their scheduled North Division fixture away to Newburgh was called off. A third attempt to play the game will be made this weekend.

Another game hoping to go ahead at the third attempt is Thornton Hibs’ trip to East Craigie in the East of Scotland Cup. Kick-offs 1.45 p.m.
