KSH were hoping the recent run of form at home in the league would continue when bottom placed Dundee Violet were the visitors.

It was a dominant Kennoway midfield early on with Binnington, Rolland and Byers enjoying a lot of freedom as Dundee Violet looked off the pace of the game.

Shaw opened the scoring when he raced onto a through ball leaving two players in his wake, as the ‘keeper came off his goal line the forward nonchalantly side footed the ball past him to put the hosts ahead.

It was the persistence of Shaw that brought the second goal.

Another strong run down the left saw the forward enter the penalty area, he managed to get past the full back and hit the byline, a queue of players lined up looking for the pass but Shaw saw his chance as he slid the ball in at the near post for a well deserved two goal lead.

Dundee Violet were offering very little in the last third and the game was meandering along much the same as the first half.

That was all to change in an explosive five minute period as the home side saw two players red carded.
