The following 90 was to provide a stormy encounter as KSH and Haddington Athletic provide thrills aplenty for the battle hardened support of both clubs.

With just one minute on the clock Kennoway grabbed the lead when a speculative ball from defence sent Wilson racing through on goal leaving a trail of defenders in his wake. The striker saw his attempted chip from twenty five yards saved by the Haddington `keeper, the ball broke to Band on the edge of the box and he carefully guided the ball into the net with a crisp strike.

The perfect start for the home side, however it was the visitors that were getting the ball down as they pressed for an equaliser.

KSH added to their lead when Band collected the ball inside the penalty area and showed the awareness to slide a pass to M.Gay, the forward took a touch and smashed the ball into the net.

The second half was only nine minutes old when KSH scored a third goal through Band.

It would be quite easy for Haddington to feel sorry for the position they were in as the three goal deficit, however they showed great spirit as they adopted an aggressive four up front policy.

They got the lifeline of a goal on the hour when Jones found a gap in the KSH rearguard and pass the ball home from ten yards.

A second goal was clawed back with 12 minutes remaining as a corner was cleared a succession of shots and blocks eventually saw the ball fall to Bauld who prodded the ball over the line to set up a dramatic final 10 minutes.

With five minutes remaining Bauld was on hand again as he headed home to complete the comeback.
