Having received a bye in the first round of the Fife & Lothians Cup, KSH made the journey up to Dundee for this McBookie North League clash with Lochee Harp.

The home side got the game underway and they took a shock lead after only four minutes .

A well struck 30 yard free kick dipped in off the crossbar and into the back of the net .

Iain Boylan then crashed a 20 yarder of the crossbar as the visitors laid siege to the Harp goal.

With 25 minutes gone, KSH were awarded a penalty, the referee deeming the Harp ‘keeper to have fouled Ryan Thomson.

The striker stepped up himself to send the ‘keeper in the opposite direction and stroke home for a deserved equaliser.

The visitors kicked ofF after the half time break and it didn’t take long for them to get their noses in front.

A clever Boylan free kick picked out Lornie whose neat first time volley looped over the ‘keeper and into the net.

Just as it seemed that KSH were well in control, Lochee were back on level terms.

A break from their own half saw the ball fed from the right hand side into the Lochee number nine who was given too much space and time and his curling effort from 22 yards out flew past Curran and into the top right hand corner of the net.

Robertson was introduced to the play replacing Anderson and barely seconds later he had the visitors in front.

Liam Craig’s throw in found the striker on the edge of the 18 yard box and he duly controlled and hit a dipping volley that hit the bar and bounced over the line.

With ten minutes to go Robertson made it 4-2.

A slack clearance from the Harp ‘keeper went straight to Boylan who immediately passed to Thomson, his slide rule pass in turn found Robertson who from 16 yards slammed the ball home.

Just when it seemed that KSH were out of sight in the game, Murdoch was deemed to have fouled the Harp winger in the box.

The referee awarded a penalty and sent Murdoch off for a second yellow card.

Harp’s number 10 stepped up and sent Curran the wrong way to make it 3-4.

But with Harp launching forward to try and get an equalising goal, Field played Craig in down the right and the pacey winger hit a tremendous strike low into the corner of the net.
