All four teams had their scheduled games called off due to frozen pitches. Dundonald Bluebell’s trip to Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts, Burntisland Shipyard’s meeting with Glenrothes and the local derby between Thornton Hibs and Kirkcaldy & Dysart were all postponed.

But the clubs have their collective fingers crossed that they will be playing again this Saturday – weather permitting – with three of them on league duty and the other hosting a cup clash.

Dundonald Bluebell will play for the first time since their Scottish Cup heroics against Queen’s Park when they travel to play Dunbar United in the Premier Division.

The ‘Bell have a five point and five game advantage over the home side.

In Conference A Kirkcaldy & Dysart will hope to continue their recent excellent form when they play host in a Fife derby against St Andrews United.

A win for Craig Ness’s side would see them draw level on points with the Saints having played two games fewer.

Meanwhile, Thornton Hibs are set to play in the Challenge Cup, taking on Dumfries and Galloway side Nithsdale Wanderers, who play in the South of Scotland League.
