Speaking to the Fife Free Press, he said: “Clubs will maybe be looking to hold on to the players who are the more finished article as they look to operate with smaller squads next season.
“Below that level though there will be a lot of players available with clubs not running reserve teams .

“By the time we get back for pre-season the Premiership clubs will have been going for two or three games and these teams will probably know by then which players they want to keep and which they want to send out.
“The fact the top league is starting soon will give them a knowledge of which guys might not be playing regularly and who they will want to put out on loan and we are a good club for players to go to and other clubs know they will be looked after and will get a chance in the team.

As well as the loan market McGlynn is of course looking to make permanent additions to the team with strikers being top priority at the moment.
However, the Rovers boss has found players difficult to deal with in the current climate as it still feels the effect of the Covid-19 crisis.

“Its not normal times so it’s quite difficult for all involved at the moment.
“Players are still holding on perhaps expecting more money or to play at a higher level and may need to take a reality check as teams are cutting back financially and in terms of the size of the squad.
“They may need to come in to the real world.
