New face at Raith Rovers

Former Ross County and Kilmarnock defender Scott Boyd has taken up a post with Raith Rovers.

The 34-year-old, who also played for Livingston and Partick, is the club’s new Stadium Development Manager.

He said he was “delighted” to take up the newly-created role, adding it is “an exciting project that can have a positive impact on the football club, both on and off the field”.

He said: “My main priorities are to maximise the use of Stark’s Parks to generate income and develop a strategy for the redevelopment of various areas, including creating a Community Hub in the McDermid Stand as we look for Raith Rovers FC to become the heartbeat of our local community.“
