New striker signs for Raith Rovers

Striker Gozie Ugwu is the latest signing at Raith Rovers.

The 27-year-old was most recently playing for Ebbsfleet United in the National League South.

Ugwu started in the youth academy at Reading in 2011 and has played for several teams in English League 1, League 2 and the National Leagues.

Measuring up at 6ft 1in, Gozie is a powerful striker that can hold the ball up, lead the line and bring others into play.

He has experienced Scottish football in his career, playing for Dunfermline Athletic in season 2014-15 and leaving as their top goalscorer to return to England in the January transfer window of 2015.
