Newburgh take a bite out of Scone Thistle

Despite losing a first half goal, Newburgh hauled themselves level in the second 45 through Greg McColm before Ben Scarborough’s effort sealed the victory.

The East of Scotland League has this week confirmed its fixture list and Newburgh will welcome Lochore Welfare to East Shore Park on Saturday, October 10.

Newburgh have also announced details of their season ticket deals, saying: “In what is sure to be a competitive league there will be some excellent fixtures to look forward to at East Shore Park. We have retained the majority of last seasons squad and added a few new faces to strengthen us for the campaign.”
