John Ovenstone will take his side to meet Armadale Thistle, at Volunteer Park.

It will, however, be a tough encounter.

Armadale opened their programme with a 3-0 defeat against Downfield, in Dundee, but bounced back to score a 3-2 victory against Whitburn in midweek.

Ovenstone will be hoping to have more of a squad available tomorrow, but injuries, suspension and unavailability will be factors.

Jamie Mackie and Craig Sturrock were ruled out of the West End game, due to knocks, and it is hoped that they may play a part against Armadale.

Alan Tulleth is unavailable and Marc Ogg is suspended.

In fact, Ogg picked up a two-match ban for his red card last Saturday and was sent off again on Wednesday, before his suspension kicked in.

The full-back is actually Tayport’s top scorer this term, courtesy of his two penalty kicks, so he has had an eventful start to the season.

At the weekend Tayport played out a tough 1-1 draw with Tranent before they went into midweek action against Forfar West End on Wednesday.

Despite taking the lead they ended up losing out 3-2.

Kick-off at Volunteer Park on Saturday is scheduled for 2.30pm.
