The Canniepairt will rock on Saturday as Tayport host a promotion and title winning party.
On Saturday Dave Baikie’s side clinched promotion back to the Super League when they beat Oakley United 2-1 in west Fife.
With their passage back up a division secured, all that was left for Tayport to do was the wrap up the East Premier League title.
It was a job they completed with ease on Wednesday night as goals from Stefan Elvin, Connaire Connelly, Grant Lawson and Gary Sutherland wrapped up a 4-1 over Dundee North End.
Just like seven days previous, when Tayport secured up the GA Engineering Cup, the side were lifting silverware after a 4-1 win.
A spokesman for the club said following Wednesday night’s win that everyone was invited to share in Tayport’s success at the weekend.
He said: “The East Premier League trophy will be presented to Tayport on Saturday following the final fixture of the season against Bathgate Thistle on the Canniepairt.
“It will mark the culmination of what has been a gruelling campaign with ups and downs along the way.
“In winning the title, however, Tayport have proved themselves to be the best side in the division and the highs vastly outnumbered the lows during the course of the season.
“Manager Dave Baikie, his coaching staff and the players all deserve great credit for what they have achieved this season.”
