KSH had the prospect of another hard away fixture as they took on Falkirk in the splendid surroundings of Grangemouth Stadium.

A confident start saw the Fife team have the bulk of the possession creating some good chances with Wilson then Craig having opportunities to open the scoring. Unfortunately both players saw their efforts blocked.

A frantic five minutes turned such a promising start into a nightmare as Falkirk raced into a two goal lead.

The first goal came from an in swinging corner that was met by Allan as his header flew past Sutherland into the opposite corner.

A few minutes later another set piece saw a deep ball played into the six yard are where Bell powered his effort into the net.

Skipper Byers again showed his class as he dragged his team back into the game with a stunning individual goal.

Byers picked the ball deep on the left wing proceeded to nutmeg his marker and drive towards the penalty area, a few other challenges were evaded and he hit a low shot from eighteen yards into the bottom corner.

Minutes before half time a great counter from Falkirk saw them break from box to box with a sweeping move allowing Bolam the chance to restore the two goal lead.

On the stroke of half time another lifeline for KSH appeared when Band forced the ball home, a scrappy goal but one that would give the Fife team some hope after a promising first half.

This game was a hard one to call, despite going two goals down the away side showed great character to come back into the contest not once but twice, a big push would be needed as Falkirk`s front pairing were proving to be quite a handful.

It was Sneddon who stunned all watching ten minutes into the half as he turned his marker and unleashed a howitzer of a shot into the top corner a full twenty five yards from goal, this goal looked to have knocked the stuffing out of KSH.

Just as they looked to be regaining their composure a slack pass back was pounced upon and Scott rounded Sutherland to extend the home side’s lead.

A gallant effort from KSH in the last fifteen minutes saw Wilson bring out three saves from the young Falkirk shot stopper as the chances were created but not finished.

Lornie grabbed a late consolation when he volleyed home from eight yards.
