Raith will start their BetFred Cup campaign away to Cove Rangers.

The Kirkcaldy side will also come up against Cove Rangers, Montrose and Alloa in the ‘regionalised’ Group D.

The geographical split, which saw the country’s teams divided into north and south sections, sparked much debate among supporters who face the possibility of long journeys.

The format, however, is sure to provide excitement with every match decided on the night - drawn matches will be settled by a penalty shoot-out with a bonus point awarded to the winner.
